Exploding Tardis Painted Purse!

 Here's the blah tiresome before:

 And the after, inwards all it's exploding glory!

 First...here's about backstory.
We did a homeschool shape for art.
We studied close Vincent Van Gogh.  We studied close his life as well as tragic death.
Then nosotros looked at all his famous paintings.
Next nosotros watched "Vincent as well as Amy" as well as "The Pandorica Opens"
And thence the epitome began.

My kids painted these!
It was fun for them to seek to pigment alongside daubs instead of long smoothen strokes.
And I was jealous I didn't teach to pigment one...

 So it was my turn.
When I establish this former dark purse, I knew it was the perfect canvas!
I used chalk to sketch on my lines...they rub off later...

 I too used stuff ink paint.
It dries soft.

 Mixing cyan as well as a dot of magenta makes the perfect Tardis Blue!

 Ready, set, go!

 I painted the blue, thence permit it dry.
(It's non crude oil paints, remember...)

 Then the yellow!

 Then permit it dry...

 Looks similar an exploding chicken!

 Then added orange...

 And white...letting it dry out again!

 Then went inwards as well as added dark lines,
the windows, as well as about dark spots...

 Let it dry, as well as I am completely satisfied!

 I sprayed it alongside a trivial clear matte finish.
Ta Da!

 I dearest it!
