DIY: Gold Leaf Resin Paperweights
These resin paperweights are then sparkly together with wonderful! I honey the gilded leafage together with the magical trip the lite fantastic they are frozen inward time. These would also brand fabulous magnets too!
I honey having pretty things closed to my desk...yes, clutter too...but these paperweights add together to the fun together with sparkle. Let's brand some!
Gather supplies:
Clear Casting Resin Gold Leaf
Black Opaque Dye Mold
Magnets (optional)
Mix the resin according to the bundle directions. Just an ounce or ii of resin together with only a few drops of catalyst. Mix inward a disposable loving cup amongst a disposable stick. Pour a quarter inch of resin inward each mold cavity.
Let it gel together with sit down for xx minutes.
Then add together pieces of gilded leafage inward the cavity of each mold. The gilded leafage is finicky together with swirls together with curls.
Let it sit down nigh xx to a greater extent than minutes. Then mix upwards some to a greater extent than resin, fill upwards one-half the squares amongst clear resin. Then add together some drops of dark opaque dye inward the resin together with fill upwards the other squares amongst black. Which create y'all similar better? Black or clear? I honey the dark ones.
Let them cure overnight. Then popular them out of the molds. You tin add together magnets to the backside of the resin amongst E6000 mucilage if y'all want. Otherwise, taste the gilded glistening paperweights.
