Update Old Frames amongst Liquid Leaf Gilding!
I bought this one-time greenish frame at the thrift store for a dollar.
I dearest the sort in addition to the fun blueprint border...but in addition to thence drab.
I used Peacock bluish pigment from Waverly
It's the same pigment I used to paint my side door inwards this post:
I used a apartment brush in addition to painted over all the green.
And over the blueprint a little. I dearest the hold off of teal in addition to copper together.
Next, I used Liquid Leaf from Plaid Crafts
It's similar liquid gold, or copper inwards this case!
Use a small-scale paintbrush in addition to pigment the within border copper.
It's fine if the teal peeks through.
I dearest the combination!
I touched upward the edges amongst a flake of copper too.
I bought a mo frame for 50 cents.
It's a lite weight metallic frame...and gold.
But slightly dingy.
I used Liquid Leaf, this fourth dimension inwards gold
in addition to painted all closed to the border.
This adds a rich thickness in addition to fresh look.
Then allow it dry out completely.
It looks fabulous.
The novel Au gilding gives it simply the correct total of richness!
