Giant Newspaper Poinsettia!

 Giant Paper Poinsettia!

 I honey to decorate amongst paper!

It's inexpensive in addition to tin create such a statement!

This bloom is huge. 

Over two 1/2 feet wide--just await at it on the front end door for comparison!

 I also absolutely honey DCWV paper!

I latterly went to Pinner's expo/convention in addition to DCWV was at that topographic point in addition to I loaded upwards on paper!

It was irresistibly priced!

DCWV also taught a giant bloom making course of pedagogy at Pinner's

 and helped everyone that came brand a giant rose.  

I decided I wanted to brand a poinsettia!

 I honey these dark gem tones!

I used four sheets of red, 1 of greenish in addition to a strip of yellow.

I cutting vi large tear drib shapes, plumbing equipment two on 1 canvass of paper.

Cut four medium size tear drops in addition to four mini ones on the scraps of cherry from the large petals. 

I cutting two large pointy leaves...and a four inch strip of yellow.

 Then I used my razor knife in addition to roughed upwards the edges.

I honey the white core...it gives it a fun distressed border.

 Then I slightly curled the edges amongst a dowel.

Next, I used a newspaper plate for the backing!

 I cutting 1 inch roughly slits inwards the xanthous paper, downward to well-nigh a one-half inch.

 Hot glued it in addition to rolled it upwards in addition to and thence curled the fringe.

 Then I hot glued the petals in addition to leaves on the newspaper plate.

 Cut a slit inwards the smaller petals in addition to overlap them slightly for a cupping shape.

Then hot mucilage it inwards place.

 Just to hand it the 3D pop!

 Hot mucilage them correct on.

I persuasion I would set the large petals, in addition to thence the middle, in addition to thence the smallest...but

 the smallest ones worked best betwixt the large in addition to middle sized.

 I added sparkly snowfall glitter amongst a mucilage stick merely for a fun detail!

 I honey it!

Paper is my favorite affair to decorate with!!!
