Junk-Bots!

 Meet the Junk-Bots!

 My vi twelvemonth sometime boy loves to collect "treasures"
Also know equally junk.  Street trash...hardware, bottlecaps, metallic things...

It all ends upward inwards the identify inwards his footling pockets.

 I decided nosotros needed to hand them a purpose!

 So nosotros created darling footling blocky robots!
The perfect combo of garbage together with friendship!

 I cutting three inch blocks of woods from a slice inwards the combat pile.
We also got all the treasures inwards i place.
I collected a few other bits together with pieces from the arts and crafts supply...
things similar binder clips, security pins, zipper heads...and other metallic things.

 After deciding which pieces to use...which took a long fourth dimension together with lots of creativity!

 Then nosotros hot glued or screwed the pieces correct on the blocks!
After playing amongst them religiously everyday for a span months...
we've had to re-glue or then pieces.
I'd recommend only using E6000 from the start!

 He was super proud of his creations.
I dear it when he gets into a creative kick!

 My fille did one.
We seat a scream dorsum on the backside of it...

 So it could locomote worn equally a chunky ring!
(okay, equally a joke!)

 But the binder clips on the heads...

 Make a perfect carte du jour or photograph holder too!
This helps them earn their keep!

 Using hooks for arms is fun to link them together similar a barrel of monkeys!

 Super fun for footling boys!
