Leather Carved Stick Barrette!

This is a Celtic knot carved pilus barrette that my 12 twelvemonth quondam boy did!

 My hubby did this leather carved mass cover final month...
together with it's got us all excited most leather carving!

 So Dan took a turn.
He used an oval blank together with followed the carving
instructions from the Deluxe Leather Kit!

 He used safe cement together with glued the leather to roughly lightweight chipboard.
Then he got the leather wet.
He traced on the designing alongside a metallic stylus.

 Carved the border...

 And carved the knot...left handed too!

 He used the beveler together with pressed downward the edges...

 Punched ii holes inwards it, 1/2" from the side.

 Added roughly background together with his signature...

 And roughly decorative cuts together with roughly seeder stamps!
Then he antiqued it alongside night brownish leather dye.
Easy together with impressive!

 Looks great!
