Chinese Lantern Lights!

 Make a petty string of Chinese lantern lights for
 Chinese New Year's Day this weekend (31st)

 You volition postulate a string of Christmas lights...white or colored.
Red paper, tape, scissors, in addition to a newspaper cutter is overnice but non necessary.

 I cutting newspaper inward two 1/2 yesteryear iii 1/4"
Fold newspaper inward half...skinny way.

 Cut strips on the folded border to close 1/4"
away from the other edge.

 Next, opened upwards it up...

 Add to a greater extent than or less record or hot gum along 1 edge...

 Wrap it inward a circle in addition to record it down.
Press together to brand the lantern strips bow outwards.

 Make 1 for every low-cal bulb...or skip to a greater extent than or less lights...whatever.

 I used a slice of duct record in addition to taped the light...

 Right within the lantern.
 And repeated...16 times for me.

 Then plough the lights on in addition to presto!

 Hang them upwards in addition to celebrate...
