Christmas Inward July: Chevron Star Wreath!

 Last projection for my Christmas inwards July!

 To brand this festive Christmas Wreath...I showtime needed

 some slap-up fabric!

But I didn't cause got whatever on hand...and wasn't sure
 if I could discovery Christmas stuff this fourth dimension of year...
too I am inexpensive anyway...so here's what I did:

 
I cause got lots of scraps of white cotton wool material.  No stretch, too pretty thin.
So I pose it on a slice of cardboard...

And used this chevron background postage I made...
simply if you lot don't cause got a stamp, you lot tin e'er purpose a potato!
Yes, spud stamping...coming soon!

I used a palette pad to postage my pigment on...
simply wax newspaper would move slap-up too!

Try to give it skillful coverage...

And postage away!



I used leafage green, low-cal pink...

Added some crimson ruby-red too hunter green...sort
of a Christmasy ombre effect.

Let those suckers dry...lots of mistakes...
simply you lot volition never survive able to tell.
Plus, I similar the rustic handmade look!

Okay, instantly I cutting slits inwards 1 border of the fabric...

And tore them into long strips!

I used a difficult foam wreath form...I flora at goodwill...
simply you lot could brand 1 amongst a pool noodle!
And I spray painted a tin star gold.

Took the strips too hot glued 1 border to the
 wreath too wrapped it around tight!

 Kept wrapping the strips around the wreath...
I dear how the chevron shows through too all the colors too!

 I used the rattling final strip to necktie the star on
 and necktie a knot/bow for hanging!
You could teach fancier too add together a bunting...or something.
I went amongst simple...spotlighting my stuff that I am too then proud of!

 Christmas tin come upwards now!  I am ready!
