Diamond Confetti Wall!

My immature adult woman merely turned 12.  

We bought a household together with it's finally at decorating point--well unopen to of it.

So I started amongst my daughters room.

My immature adult woman is even together with thence really girly together with cutesy...but I knew that would non in conclusion forever...

mayhap non fifty-fifty a year!

So I wanted to practise something that tin transition easily...and alter easily!!!

She requested a confetti wall.

 I didn't desire to practise the same confetti wall that everyone else is doing...
together with I used to select dreams close diamonds together with gems inwards all their
glory for the taking rushing past times me similar a river.
 So this was where my inspiration came from.

It's awesome too...so many possibilities amongst these diamonds!

 We started amongst infant bluish walls together with chop-chop painted everything white.

I used a satin finish...and nosotros waited the iii entire weeks before

 putting upward vinyl, which was together with thence hard!

 My married adult man built her an awesome bed...but otherwise the room was blank.

 On her twelfth birthday weekend.
I sat tirelessly weeding vinyl.  I estimate I could say people that I weeded all weekend.
Gems, crystals, fine cutting diamonds inwards every variety!

 I did unopen to triangles, hexagons together with circles for the confetti business office too.

 The gems all require to hold upward lay on the wall amongst transfer tape...
Some select really fragile lines together with would hold upward a disaster without transfer tape.

 I cutting out the words I wanted.

 Then nosotros started.
One past times 1 nosotros clustered the pieces on the wall.
I went amongst clusters instead of evenly spaced confetti.

 Using a scraper to press on the transfer record to ensure adhesion.
Then carefully peeling dorsum the transfer tape.

 Piece past times piece.
Rarity would hold upward pleased!

 It took close two hours from start to finish.

 The hardest business office was the really sparse vinyl lines of the fragile diamonds.
So worth it though.  I beloved the multifariousness of lines, shapes together with colors.
Some of the vinyl is iridescent, unopen to is metallic, unopen to glittery.

 We added unopen to on the other wall past times her low-cal switch equally well.
Helps to convey it all together!

 This makes the perfect accent wall!
It's busy together with fun...and together with thence girly, but also adulty!

 Isn't it merely fun?
I could stare at it for hours.
And, I select favorites too.

And when nosotros are laid upward for a change, it's merely a quick fleck of peeling together with starting fresh!
