Diy: Shark Etched Vino Glass!

DIY: Shark Etched Wine Glass!
This drinking glass turned out hence fun.
Story time:
My mom was a collector of fun glasses. She would purchase them at thrift stores or yard sales. They were simply i of a form inward our cupboard. The affair is, they were the highly desired spectacles to live because they were unique. I am the same. I don't convey a lot of matching sets, but lots of individuals.
Each of my kids convey their personal favorites...and I'm certain this shark drinking glass simply made the highly coveted list!

You volition demand roughly glassware, stemware, vino goblets or whatever. We don't potable wine, but it feels fancy to potable a strawberry lemonade out of a goblet.

Glass Etching Cream
Vinyl cutting out of shark (or desired shape)

I used my Cricut Explore Air™ two machine to cutting out a tiny 2.5 inch shark.

Just out of roughly white vinyl.

Then weed out the within of the shark. I removed the oculus in addition to gills too, hence it's simply a silhouette.

Then apply the vinyl. Because the goblet is tapered, the vinyl has a piddling folding, simply try to proceed the actual silhouette outline equally smoothen equally possible.

Then glop on roughly of the etching cream. It's super thick in addition to creamy. I did an even-ish layer of cream all over the darling shark.
Then it simply sits for xv minutes.

After xv minutes, wipe off the excess cream alongside a newspaper towel. Then withdraw the vinyl in addition to launder it completely inward the sink.
