Edit
We've celebrated Christmas at my
in-laws for a few years now.
We alive inwards the basement apartment...but decorate
and accept Christmas upstairs alongside all the family.
Last year, nosotros were out of work, but signed on with
the Army too Mike was leaving inwards January...
Basically leaving us no coin at Christmas time.
(as usual)
So, inwards companionship to proceed our spirits up,
I decided nosotros should create a
Blue too Silver themed Christmas!
We had a minor artificial tree that we
stood upward on the java table...
We splurged on around blueish LED snowflake lights ($5)
and I rummaged through all our/in-laws decorations to
find anything that would become alongside the theme!
I made around stockings out of cloth that I already had...
fringe that I already had...and fleece that I already had!
Because nosotros didn't accept a lot of tree decorations,
I made a bunch!
On Thanksgiving, afterward nosotros ate too all had nutrient coma,
I cutting upward around cardstock too folded thirty boxes (lids too bases)
to brand footling "presents" to hang on the tree!
I learned to crease these boxes inwards third grade, Mrs. Holman.
here's the pace past times step
I made them, fit them snuggly together too then
wrapped them inwards anything that would match!
I had been saving ribbons, bows, too wrapping paper
from the twelvemonth earlier for this purpose!
All growing upward my mom would create a big
Christmas arts and crafts every Thanksgiving evening!
Such a fun tradition!
(I've tried to create my ain for these past
thirteen years that she's been gone)
